Great bush walk. Wide clean tracks. When you start the walk from Senic drive and you reach the end at Anawhata road. A cross the road is another short track that will take you to a look out. Great views from there. Well worth it.

Easy grade track with only some slight hills. Track has been upgraded with gravel to allow it to open under the kauri dieback rhui. Walk takes just over an hour each way. No significant views/lookout points along the track but you are surrounded by beautiful native bush. At the Anawhata Road end there is a short walk to the McElwain lookout platform (an extra 20mins return). Minimal parking available at the Scenic Drive end, larger carpark available on Anawhata Road. Accessible to a wide range of people as long as you can navigate the end gate.
