I am a melba regular, usually love coming here for the big breakfast, but today was off putting. we waited for over 40 minutes, just for my big breakfast to come out with halloumi burnt to a crisp, toast with no butter, watery melba sauce, burnt bits in my scrambled eggs and theyd forgotten my hash browns. the overall vibe of the restaurant today was a STARK difference than my previous experiences. staff must have been under a lot of pressure but seeing a chef snap back at the waiter when i had asked them to get melba sauce for me was very disappointing. the only good thing today was the man who was working front of house who was super understanding and accommodating when i sent my food back. usually one of my favourite spots, but i wont be coming back here again.
