Dogworkz Mobile Grooming`

Nicola from dogworkz mobile grooming shaved my dogs cyst on her tail which she knew about on the 24th of October 2020. She called me and told me what had happened and my dog was in a lot of pain because of what she did. The cyst then became septic and we had to take her to the vet. $315.90 for the consultation and meds and the vet recommended docking her tail as it won't heal because of the constant licking. The docking of her tail came to $1189.10. I called and explained to Nicola and she said she would get back to me. She then said she will put in a claim with her business insurance but until today nothing has happened and she chooses to ignore all my calls/emails. She then decided to not take liability. My girl was in so much pain and till today no apology. She knew it was her fault but she has chosen not to take any responsibility. My girl will never trust another groomer because of what she did. We understand that it was a accident but take some responsibility or even an apology but nothing. Quick to take payment but what about her responsibility as a groomer? "Our insured vehemently denies liability for the docking of your dogs tail. Our client is prepared to attend a DT if that is the route you choose to take"
