Parohe Island Retreat

Stunning location and buildings design! We loved the sunrise yoga and relaxing natural atmosphere. The food was zesty and energising(we arent vegetarians but absolutely loved it)and the paddle boarding and kayaking was super fun. The highlight was the sauna nestled in the tea trees and hot baths in the forest with Epsom salts. Also the outdoor gym and massage lady were magic. Thanks team! Im recommending to my friends and parents!

Nearby activities: The facilitator Anna did an amazing job at resetting our mindset and offering tools to use in chaotic every day life. Sunrise yoga, breath-work - amazing. The massages were the best we have experienced. Real intention to relax and heal the body. Food & drinks: The food was spectacular and nourishing. Attention to flavor, wholesomeness and creativity. Noteworthy details: Attention to detail and service. Beautifully executed by all of the Parohe Island team.

A fabulous 4 day family break over Xmas! So pleased we were allowed to self cater after the retreat was cancelled. Stayed in the fabulous villa where Kaye and Scott had organised a real Xmas tree and Hollie had stocked the fridge with snacks and groceries. Hollie cooked a fabulous vegan spread for us for Xmas day, so huge in fact it lasted 3 meals!! We were spoilt with amazing massages from Hollie and fabulous Yoga with Kaye The views were to die for and we sat outside watching the tuis feed on the flax and listened to the kookaburra and Kiwi! A wonderful invigorating and relaxing stay! Thank you!xx

Leaving an honest review for this beautiful retreat is really difficult because I truly want to keep it a secret and keep the secret all to myself. The retreat grounds are absolutely amazing, well kept and well planned. The rooms are truly luxurious, but there are so many activities that you are barely in there! Although, having such a beautiful room to snooze and relax in at the end of the day is great! Every person I met who works at Parohe, has been unbelievably kind and down to earth. The food is absolutely delicious and the lovely chef, Holly, has such a kind soul and heart that I was in awe of her the entire time. There was a huge internal struggle at the end of my stay, because I truly wish I couldve missed the boat back, and lived in this slice of paradise (with alpacas) forever.
