Joined a Flex fitness gym that uses debit success. I thought the $20 setup fee was a bit steep initially and found 14 days to cancel a direct debit was surprisingly slow. I went back to read the contract and it became quite clear debitsuccess is a bottom feeder. With excessive dishonored payment fees and penalties this company has positioned itself well to maximize it's profit taking advantage of NZs most vulnerable. I considered keeping the gym membership ticking over as its not a huge expense and helps a local business but I do not want to support this company.

By far the worst customer service in the world. Doesn't receive, process or even comprehend paperwork sent to them. On top of this they are thieves billing 2 of my accounts for two separate locations, When I only go to one gym. This went on for 2 months even with multiple requests for them to stop. Reported to ASIC and I encourage anyone else to do the same. Would give negative stars if possible.

This companies practises need to be looked into by fair trade. Absolutely disgusting business model.

2:30 on a Wednesday. Been on hold for 14 minutes and still 4th in the que to speak to an operator. Put some more staff on.
