WARNING!! Stay well clear of Autobox! When I bought my car from them I dealt with Ben, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Ben has since left Autobox, which is a real shame, as my new contact person is not helpful at all. I bought my car with a 3 month mechanical warranty. My car's fan stopped working during the 3 month period. I took my car to my mechanic and then to an auto-electrician for a second opinion. They both confirmed that the fan is faulty and needed to be replaced. Initially my contact at Autobox was saying it was a "wear and tear item" and is not covered. Then they said it was an "electrical item" and not covered. Once it was confirmed that it was mechanical and not a wear and tear item, the contact person simply stopped responding. I got the fan replaced which costed $699.66. I contacted Autobox again, to ask if they could at least pay half. I thought this would at least be a happy middle-ground...and then...yes, you guessed it, no response. I am now speaking to my legal counsel about this who will take further action. I am not concerned whether the legal fees cost more than the $699.66. This is a matter of principal and integrity. I hope this review helps someone out there.
