23/04/23 - Went to Cable Bay as part of the Vineyard Experience package and while we were a little disappointed to find out we werent actually allowed our puppy with us at the tasting experience, the staff were friendly, professional and apologetic at the miscommunication But, then a waitress came out to serve us and after hearing about our group being split she talked to the bartender and allowed us all to get the tasting together outside. It was the end of the day, and a Sunday evening and while we were ok with the situation she went out of her way to help us out and treat us with kindness. Thank you for the great friendly service and making us feel important on our 1st trip to Waiheke Island. Oh, and the wine was great too !! Delivered expertly and professionally for a great all round experience

Food was absolutely delicious. Desert was my favourite. Best dessert I've ever tasted anywhere!

Definitely not a bad experience, but compared to the level of care and thoughtfulness at their neighbor, cable bay cut you a little short (not much more than a sip for your tasting) and the staff was a little stand-offish. If you arent going to any other spots youll have a lovely time (the venue and architecture is beautiful!) but if youre doing a couple wineries, id skip this one.
