        A lovely spot, beautiful views and very modern and comfortable. Tips for others. We paid around $50 return for a ferry from Auckland which sounds expensive. We then saw that the Island had one of those hop on/hop off tourist buses that was $35 a day with the ferry ticket included. The location of the Villas is remote and we should have booked a car or e-bikes. Taxis are expensive and have some cash as EFTPOS machines dont always work. Wharf to Villas is around $70 each way for eg. And a trip back to town for food is around $60. Purchase food and wine on the way to Villas in Onera. I think Villas 2-4 might be the ones to secure, feels like a better aspect. We had fab lunch at Ki Maha right on the beach (book near the front windows). Other than our own lack of prep it was a good weekend.
