Massive sized spa with musical LEDs will keep you relaxed be it day or night. Rooms are fully equipped with highest quality facilities. To add to this, cental kitchen is also fully equipped with all cooking facilities including a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Surrounding farm with gardens and animals gives that great touch of country style living yet being minutes away from shopping centre and beaches. Hosts are very accommodating and super friendly. You just can't go wrong when you book with Ember Rock. Highly Recommended A++.

What a lovely place to stay for a group of ten! We really enjoyed the individual units plus the great communal space. Quality accommodation and a neat setting on the edge of a farm. Hope to be back !

One of the best places we have stayed at! We were there for a 40th and it was just perfect for our group. The pods are absolutely gorgeous and are kitted out with the everything you need. Aircon, TV and a SUPER comfy bed! The spa pool is huge and the fire pit and outdoor area was the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying being surrounded by nature. The hosts were extremely friendly and were kind enough to drop off warm bread and organic bacon for us. They were extremely accomodating and helpful. Cant recommend them enough, whether in a group or just on your own.

The host Richard met us at the property and gave us a free bottle of Man-O-War Rose Wine. There was milk and 2 cold beers in the fridge as well at no charge. The property had only been open for 2 weeks and was immaculately presented. The layout of the room was good and included a double bed at one end and a bathroom with toilet and shower at the other end. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The middle comprised a bench with sink, small fridge and table + 2 chairs. There was storage under the bed and a separate set of storage draws and cubie holes. The only minor storage issue was the lack of a proper clothes hanging rod, but we provided this feedback and they were very receptive and said they would address this. The shared kitchen and laundry were well equipped with stove top, oven, microwave and had spare plates and glasses. There was both a washing machine and dryer. Just outside was a brand new gas BBQ. The massive spa pool 5m x 2m was magic to bask in day or night. The gardens surrounding the unit were stunning with an amazing collection of bronze statues. Our unit had a bronze Elephant outside and each of the other units had different animals. There was also an organic garden growing the most delicious strawberries I have tasted. Ember Rock Elephant Junction is situated just a 15 minute walk / 2 minute drive from Palm Beach, one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Waiheke and great for swimming. Also at Palm Beach is a superette and a gorgeous caf / restaurant Arcadia where the food is great and the prices reasonable. There are many native birds filling the trees and even two Alpacas. Overall I would highly recommend Ember Rock as a fantastic location with a friendly receptive host and top notch facilities.
