I tried to book a campervan with Grab a Camper. Responses to messages were very slow, in broken English, and weren't forthcoming with information. They initially sent me a quote for hundreds of dollars more than discussed via a campervan rental site. When they sent the correct quote there was a long list of additional fees which had no explanation. After a week of messages we were about to book and they changed their mind, saying 5 days wasn't worth it for them, despite agreeing to it beforehand. A complete waste of time. Terrible customer service.

Great Experience! Grabacamper team was super helpful from the first day.Communication Alan and Luiza was great and helped in any way possible. We rented a Nissan Campervan for 3 weeks, and was really comfortable, almost brand new and very clean! We named her 'Lizzo' and made our road trip from the North to the South of NZ exceptionally great! We had some minor hiccups along our trip and Alan was always ready to help out and assist in any way possible! The fact that the Campervan was solar powered was another plus as we could freedom camp and only use paid sites on an occasional basis! Grabacamper made our stay in NZ a fabulous one and surely a one to remember! Would highly recommend this company and their excellent services!

Got a camper 2 berth last weekend for new years and all I can say is it was great, really comfortable everything we needed except for the groceries and I think the staff would have put that in if I had asked, thank you very much guys, we loved it look forward to doing it again in march .

We am very Happy with this campervan rental company! After doing a lot of research from the other side of the world and doing price comparisons with other rental companies we decided to go with Grabacamper! Well what a great decision we made! After arriving in New Zealand they picked me and my partner at the airport and gave us the complete run down on how to use the camper. I was very impressed with the quality of the their campers they are pretty much brand new !. Traveling around New Zealand in Gracie was such a great experience!!! ( we decided to call her Gracie because we were so grateful for the service and the price of Gracie! !;p). Gracie new gave us one problem at all! . We will be defiantly using Grabacamper again in the future and Highly recommend this outstanding company! Use these guys! its a decision you will never regret !
