I visited this BP around 7am on Saturday 17th December to hire a trailer. I also purchased strops, just incase they were needed. I had my cousin return with the trailer at 9:45 and the unused AND unopened strops for a full refund. After getting my deposit back for the trailer, she asked for a refund for the strops that I purchased. The young lady behind the counter, without asking, but accused her of using the strops and restapling the packaging. She told the attendant, no they haven't been used and they were purchased for a "just in case". The attendant replied with, "Are you sure? They look used". The condescending behaviour was enough! She was basically accused of lying and the attendant refused to give a refund until my cousin had to argue with her about the packaging. In the end, the refund was given, however not without being accused of lying. Very poor customer service and definitely won't be returning.
