    Spent nearly $30k with these guys as we liked the grohe tapware on our last build. Happy with tapware, just not robertsons. One of the taps didnt come with an aerator, after 6 months and multiple chasing emails wrong one arrived (and charged $40). I have had no reply from Robertsons to email about getting correct replacement part sent 2 weeksa ago. Just ended up buying online and arrived in 5 days at half the price. I bought through these guys rather than saving money by buying online (significantly cheaper) so I would have after purchase support. Customer service is non existent after the sale is made. I suggest in this day and age just buy online and get shipped to NZ, thats what i am doing on my next build.

    Terrible aftercare customer service. Our bath has a defect in the base from moulding which was not noticed at time of install due to its location and the finish of the bath. Rather than going through the rigmarole of paying to have the faulty bath removed and a replacement one installed (at our cost for removal and re install) we asked for some financial compensation to keep the defected bath instead. Robertson's know it will cost us even more to remove and install a replacement bath, so we were told "Giving you a discount is not in our interest as the factory will replace the bath" They have not seen the defect nor are they interested in doing so. Spend your money elsewhere with a company who doesn't just take your money and run.

    Robertson Bathware does not honour the warranties. I bought 3 American Standard basin faucets through Mitre 10 plus one other of a different brand and within 2 years the surface of the 3 American Standard were breaking down, corroding and oxidising - the other brand is still in top condition after 4 years (all in the same house with similar use and cleaning). Mitre 10 filed a warranty claim, photographs included, with Robertson on my behalf which was simply rejected as they said harsh cleaners had been used. Totally wrong - never anything but soap and water. Robertson did not answer my follow-up direct message to them. These faucets have a 10 year warranty - obviously faulty materials which is covered under NZ law. I am adding more following Robertson Bathware's miserable response:- These faucets did have a 10 year warranty when purchased (which was as stated on the American Standard website - my claim was filed by Mitre10 on my behalf so I didn't get the opportunity to correct the wording of the claim. Robertson has not asked for the faucets to be returned so as to test for the reason for failure. I can only re-iterate that only water and soap was ever used for cleaning them. Robertson has still never answered my direct message to them.
