Nick Scali Furniture

Looks to be lovely furniture ( time will tell)and great sales staff. We were happy to wait the 3-4 months for delivery, but to actually get delivery is a nightmare and expensive. They dont tell you cost, $155 , (15 min drive away)till you confirm delivery and that you are required to unpack and get rid of the packaging. Opposite to what we were told on purchase. To pickup yourself is equally difficult as they only have certain days for pickups and this needs to be booked in (in our case a week away) as they only allow a certain number of pickups per day. Certainly would not be recommending to friends. Wow 4 years on and no improvement with service. Went to buy a rug to find that unless I have it delivered and pay a courier fee I can't purchase. Will take this to the commerce commission as I believe it is false advertising. If you have to pay extra (No other options available)to get the item, then it should be included in the price, not added as an afterthought during sales processing.

Terrible customer service. Had all 3 batteries in my lounge suite replaced as they would never charge. Another one died and was replaced with a different brand. Have seen from online stores that the original ones are faulty units. Now they want to charge me for two new batteries even though they were duds from the get go. Do not buy from here. Customer service all but zero Update: Only after this review did they come to the party and replace the last two batteries for free

We had the best experience at Nick Scali in Hastings. Scott was so good at sales I purchased immediately and would 100% buy from him again. I have been to multiple stores across NZ and feel that the other stores could learn a lot from Scott. An extremely knowledgeable salesperson!

This is a review for Nick Scali Australia only and your processes. We bought a lounge suite in Nov last year. Finally, got notification for a pick up slot April 10th which was I changed to April 3rd. Last week we bought a rug to add to it. The rug is available and was paid for ,in fact, it was sitting on the floor of the warehouse beside our furniture. We could not take it as it was not cleared by Australia! Absolutely ridiculous! Add to that you do not allow personal pick ups so we have to pay for two deliveries out of Auckland. Note the Mt Wellington showroom and Wiri warehouse staff are both five stars but they were hamstrung by the process.

Kayla was very helpful with our choice of lounge suite and rug. There are plenty of choices in the large showroom.
