    Avoid. Had the worst experience dealing with Croy, who ignored my calls and made promises he had no intention of keeping. Very dodgy dealership run by patronising men.

    Vehicle I purchased in Feb 2023 has had multiple issues. I took it into AA auto centre for a service as I felt the vehicle was showing signs of underlying issues, turns out all 4 spark plugs were worn out so needed replacing, filters were very dirty, fault keeps coming up in scan which AA auto centre says might be caused by other issues which will need looking into, all 4 tyres needed replacing (2 rare tyres were almost out of tread so took it to the tyre shop where they advised the front two tyres were not the correct tyres and should not have been sold in that condition especially from a car dealership). These issues came into affect from March - April 2023! On top of everything else, I received in the mail today notice of WOF been revoked by NZ Transport Agency. Which now means I have to get a new WOF. Cargiant you shouldnt be operating like this. Not disclosing all issues with your vehicles you are selling is misleading. Do not buy from Cargiant!! I will be seeking legal advice on this In response to Cargiants response on 05/05/2023 My mistake to infer February as purchased date, but January 4th was not the date I took the vehicle from your yard. January 4th is when I paid down the deposit, the date where the vehicle was taken from your yard was January 16th. Maybe this too will be enough to discredit your response as a car dealer! I am not making a personal attack on your company, I am stating facts and informing the public not to trust Cargiant. I never stated servicing of the vehicle was the main issue, to go into detail - after a week or two of driving this vehicle I noticed shaking upon starting up ignition which gradually became unbearable, as well as the vehicle taking its time kicking in when pressing foot on the accelerator. This lead me to take the vehicle into AA auto centre for a full service to find out what was causing these issues and if there were any other undisclosed issues. AA auto centre advised there could be multiple issues and suggested starting off with replacing all spark plugs as they were worn out to help with the shaking. AA is yet to find the cause of the slow kick in (something I am not wanting to pay more for). On top of that, AA found the two rear tyres had very low tread which made it unsafe to drive in. On February 21st I txtd Leon informing him of the issues in particular the tyres with no response at all. I took it upon myself to get the tyres replaced at Bridgestone only to be told by Bridgestone that the front two tyres were not the right tyres for the vehicle and should not have been sold in that state by a car dealer. In response to your attempts to contact me, I replied to your email this morning providing receipts and repair workorder as well as current milage reading. I was not able to respond to your emails instantaneously yesterday as I had work, school pick up and after school sports! To be honest I was going to let this go as I blamed myself for going in on my own and choosing not to take someone who has more knowledge on vehicles, but upon receiving the letter from NZ Transport Agency yesterday 04/05/2023 stating the WOF has been revoked as the inspecting organisation (Rinas Limited t/a Westcity Mechanical & Tyres, Henderson) have been suspended by NZ Transport Agency this lead me to contact Cargiant! For the record, I was not after free servicing nor am I seeking freebies! Never in my life have I sought freebies thank you very much. If there were no issues with the vehicle from the start I would not have wasted money on servicing or leaving this review. I am merely stating what actions I took and what information I was given by AA Auto Centre to help inform the public about being more careful when purchasing from Cargiant! I will exercise my options!
