I picked My Doctor because Dr. Ashwin Patel was recommended by our previous doctor, he allowed walk in visits and was walking distance from our house. We started seeing him in August but since then he has opened a second practice and has halved his available hours. Now we have to wait for appointments. When I showed up for an appointment fifteen minutes early, they had me with my 13-month-old outside because she had a cold, then a COVID+ patient showed up and we waited outside with them. We were seen over an hour later, after several other patients, including the COVID+ patient who had their appointment after us. They also fail to follow-up on things, such as when their supply of vaccines has arrived. In my opinion, the Dr. and his wife are spread too thin between the two practices and their software business. Perhaps they need to hire more staff for the practice, such a receptionist who can follow-up with patients, and a nurse that can triage and not leave patients outside when they shouldn't be, maybe they need another doctor to cover the hours he is not there. But what do I know. I gave a two rating because at least the doctor knows what he is doing... but not well enough for us to keep going to him.

I have been with Dr.Patel for almost 10 years. He is a very great great doctor. He is patient and takes time with his clients. Listens to your concerns and actually spends time with his clients which you usually don't get from most of any GPs. I would highly recommend My Doctor. His wife is lovely and very welcoming too. Thanks very much for taking care of me and my family.
