Cyclone Gabrielle: The road to the lighthouse is non existent. Lighthouse is CLOSED. Beautiful lighthouse out in a great location. You can go inside and up to the deck around for great views. On certain days it may be completely clouded over however.

Was here a couple months just before the road damages. Not really worth the drive from central Auckland but at least the views were decent.
