Overall the food was okay. The staff and their service were lovely - cant fault them. The atmosphere was nice and overall comfy and low in volume which is a big bonus! The food was the real let down unfortunately. The beef patty of the burger was very dry and there was a tiny smush across the plate of aioli for the fries to be dipped in. The onion rings were the biggest disappointment $14 for pre-frozen generic onion rings. Take a note from Johnnys steak house and level them up to theirs by making in-house crispy onion rings. Karaage salad was tasty but not enough chicken for an almost $30 salad. Pork ribs were tough and chewy, they probably needed a longer slow cooking time. All these little bits become important. I honestly probably wont return because the food is just average but Id definitely reconsider if they stepped it up a notch - especially for the prices the food needs to match. Theres other restaurants in Pukekohe thatll leave you more satisfied!
