        Be aware that trains are not currently running from Pukekohe Station until late 2024 to enable the extension of rail electrification and for the station to be redeveloped. In the meantime, free bus 394 runs from the bus stops at the station to Papakura Station via Paerata Rise at the same frequency as the trains (generally every 20 minutes) and are timed to connect well to and Southern Line trains at Papakura. When the station upgrade is complete, electric trains will run through to Britomart (and the City Rail Link when that is complete).

        Ones I arrived early, but had to wait a bit longer than expected for the next bus to arrive. But great, confertable bus, friendly driver. And not expensive at all.
