Stanmore Bay Bakery Cafe

Came into the store and politely asked for a $0.5 plastic fork, lady at the counter refused to give me one and insisted I buy something to receive a 5 cent fork... she also stated " it's not fair you go to other shop and not buy here " extremely unprofessional. I then walked across to the cafe and they gave me one for free.

Highly recommend this place. I cant thank them enough for today. Its been a rough week for my boyfriend and I and they were kind enough to give us pies even though my payment wouldnt go through. We happily returned not too long afterwards to pay for the pies, but Im truly so grateful that theres still wonderful people out there who do things out of the kindness of their heart. The pies were flaky on the outside and such a yummy filling on the inside. Will definitely be returning!
