Coast Cakes

Unfortunately I had hired a stand from Coast Cakes for my wedding. We set it up on the night and it worked like a charm. When my friend (who was doing me a favour bringing it back) went to take it home I said to keep it together so that no parts could be lost. She did that and took it back to the shop who said that they were keeping the deposit as she'd lost some parts. It was fully put together, with absolutely nothing missing, apart from a homemade cardboard box. I offered to make a new cardboard box (I can do so at work), however that wasn't good enough and I was informed that there had been extra pieces of the stand attached to the bubble wrap that the stand came in. There absolutely was not any extra pieces, I helped put it together and saw it with my own eyes. I've tried to rectify this with the company, but they are not interested. Obviously business is a bit slow and they decided to make some money by not returning deposits for hired items. Such a shame as it looks like the cake reviews are great. Maybe need to sort out your customer service.

Oh my gosh, WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I ordered 2 lolli cakes for the kids birthdays. I was nervous that it would be small because they were only 60 dollars each, but when I got there I was amazed at the size, the presentation, and the service! I even got instructions on how to keep my cakes fresh and I loved that! The lady behind the counter treated us with such kindness. This is my new favorite place and ive told all my friends about them too! Thank you for the amazing experience

This was a rush order, only a few day notice - but it was incredible!!! Im so glad i chose Coastie Cakes. I went for the larger cake to feed 38 people and it did not disappoint. The Lemon and Coconut cake was delicious, and the icing and the design was beautiful. My friend love it and we had a lot of compliments. More than happy to recommend to all future customers

The cake was really dry and disappointing. I reached out to Coast Cakes to express my opinion in a private message (I felt this was better than doing a Google review straight away) but had no reply.
