I visited this store in Papakura this afternoon looking for a length of cable. I entered the front door which opens by itself, that's where the good service stopped. there was a gentleman standing behind the computer at the entrance of the store who ignored my existence completely. A younger staff member saw me and was happy to ask if i required any assistance. When I told the younger staff member that i needed 25m worth of cable, he asked the older staff member for advice to which this man replies "It's a bit like walking into repco and asking for spark plugs, normally a sparkie comes in and asks for a specific product." I work in the motor industry, I am not a sparkie. I can tell you all about spark plugs but nothing about cabling. When I or any of my staff are approached by a customer who is not entirely sure of what they are after, I endeavour to provide the best customer service possible. I would not tolerate what i experienced today among my team. Regardless of my trade, or prior knowledge of the electric industry and products the service was simply disgusting. It unfortunately didn't stop there, this older staff member completely ignored another customer who walked into the shop. this customer stood in front of this staff member for at least a minute before this older staff member looks up and says "did you want something." this after staring at the customer walking into the shop, not greeting the customer at all and then choosing to blatantly ignore this customer. two customers in the space of 15 minutes. This experience has not put me off visiting this store again. It has however annoyed me enough to say this this kind of customer service is far below standard and quite simply not the kiwi way.

Very friendly and helpful . Sometimes I get lost in the aisles and Filo would always be there to help me out. Great job, Keep it up guys!

Stopped in at the store in Papakura today, The person i was dealing with treated me like a idiot and was very unhelpful, I do not appreciate that, I will not be buying from this store again
