Outdoor Action

Parcel arrived promptly so I could use it on my camping trip. When I first looked at the mattress I thought 'how could something so small and thin keep me warm and comfortable?". But it did both. I look forward to many more good camping sleeps

Bought our new tent from them, the delivery was fast and the MSR tent was everything we were expecting. Quality has its price, but we think our purchase was totally worth it.

Just hope if you buy from them your parcel doesnt get lost, if it does no one is able to help you, so you end up having to sort yourself... just bought tent, had an update saying it was to be delivered Tuesday morn, all excited and then...... it has not turned up, and outdoor action can not advise why it was unable to be delivered and why stuck at NZ post saying undeliverable, and told me to do the chasing myself... ... , as no one is answering from NZ post, just go round in circle on phone, and when i finally spoke to someone they said it was not their department, and someone would come back to me in 48 hours.. at this stage it looks like no tent, no holiday this long weekend..... best to deal with a company that uses a proper freight company.. After I did this review, I received an abusive email from Nick, who said he was the owner of the company. My parcel still not delivered and according to tracking is day 3 of unable to deliver status and no one can tell me why. They believe it is not their problem if it doesnt arrive??? Sent me a screenshot of there t&cs on website about if parcel goes missing after it is delivered, they are not responsible. Odd response from a customer service team, when my parcel has not been delivered. And they are doing nothing to help it get delivered. And then complain I gave them a 1 star rating!!! Finally after I sat on the phone for 3 hours on Thursday with NZ post, I found a lovely lady in the esculation team at 4.45pm that finally locate the parcel, and marked it for a redelivery. The address was correct ( business address ) and no one knows why wasnt delivered, but my beef, is the lack of help and support from Outdoor action, and my needing to spend many hours of my time acorss 3 days trying to get this escalated with NZ post. As the feedback below from Outdoor action clearly shows, when something goes wrong, they are not customer centric!! you are on your own... the parcel was not attempted to be delivered twice, just once Tuesday am, then went to holding pattern until finally delivered on Friday after days and many hours of calls and chases with NZ post.

Ordered an Oztrail 6p fast frame blockout tent. Great tent, stable in the wind, cooler in the heat of day, does what it says on the box. Read the instructions , watch the videos. Lots of reviews on these blockout tents. We got the 6 p because it a great size for a couple camping on OZTrail stretchers, most tent makers seem to think everyone wants to sleep on the ground. Good ventilation and condensation control. Easy to put up and pack away. Great quality all round, the flooring material seems way better than most tents we have seen. Excellent service from Outdoor Action , tent was ordered on a Sunday and we received it in Taranaki on Tuesday. Excellent communication from the Outdoor Action team, thanks.
