White Cross Dental

Very happy with my recent experience here with Sunny Kim who is friendly and professional. I came for X-rays and to fix an old filling and am really pleased with the result and quick/painless experience. Sunny's minimally invasive/monitoring approach is reassuring too, and I appreciated the advice he gave :)

I called the dental clinic to book an appointment to see a hygienist. The receptionist booked me in the same day. I confirmed with her the appointment was to get a deep clean and she agree and priced me $150. When I attended my appointment I confirmed again that it was for a deep clean only to tell me that I was booked for a basic clean and X-rays and consultation . I was very confused as I was very clear from the beginning . The dentist that I was booked with made me feel very uncomfortable made me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about . I told her I wanted a deep clean only and she refused to understand me. She continued to do a basic clean and to tell me she is better than any hygienist, the job took her 15-20 minutes and I felt she did not do a near good enough job. I feel it was all rushed and she did not pay any attention to detail. They wanted to still charged me $150 even tho she only did a basic clean and cut two of my wires from my braces. I was not happy with anything i had experienced in the short amount of time and was very confused as to why they were still charging me the same price she gave at the beginning when I only got a basic clean. The receptionist said that she now will only charge me $120 and thats because they cut two wires. I am so disappointed that I spent this amount for a not even near half done job. I would NOT recommend this dental clinic to anyone. They claim to be cheap but if I had of know why I would have spent an extra $50 to get my teeth professionally cleaned by a Hygienist. Truely disgusted.

I personally find this place really caring and easy to access. I have had Michelle and Sunny as my dentists and both have been kind and professional. I am terrified of dental work so its saying something that I dont mind coming here. Theres some previous reviews for the white cross doctors next door that are negative and they have accidentally reviewed the dentist instead. Therefore the rating for St Lukes dental should be higher. The receptionist is also super nice.
