Mount Albert Motor Lodge Motel

It is a very basic place, pet friendly which was what we required. The fridge was pretty disgusting, old and rusty. Didn't feel like using it or the dishes. Bed was uncomfortable snd not enough pillows. The dachshund dogs loved it though for all the smells they could smell. I probably wouldn't stay there again unless it was upgraded. The lights at night are not great outside. The neighborhood used to be genteel, bit now is pretty gritty. There was some noise outside which was a little concerning

Disappointing. Photos look good but the motel did not. Old tired and lacked maintenance. Room was very musty as though things were very damp. Will not stay again Nearby activities: Centrally located

This is a review of the Lodge cafe, and comes with a warning to ask for an itemized bill. I paid for a group of five, and after a few taps at the register, a lady asked me to pay for more than the total due. It was not the situation for a dispute, so I paid, and attempted to contact the Lodge cafe later. Emails were then ignored, and the phone was unanswered. With everything costing big time these days, I dont appreciate being ripped off like this. No mistake - the maths is easy enough .
