HELL Pizza

Have a friend from NZ back home who was adamant that we tried Hell pizza when we visited NZ. We ordered the double size (an American medium) gluten free crust on the gluttony pizza for $26. All of the specialty pizzas are based on the 7 deadly sins. I could see the chef clean the pizza cutter with a paper towel rather than wash with soap and water but I didn't have a lot of other options as a Coeliac. Pizza smelled like a Hawaiian pizza but I didn't actually see or taste any pineapple once opening the box. The toppings were pretty sparse for a pizza called "gluttony." The crust was thin, which is fine because it's gluten free. The lack of toppings would have Americans outraged if this place opened up shop over there. It wasn't bad, but it was mediocre for a pizza. They also have dairy free cheese available at no extra charge. While the pizza is ok, it's not worth writing home about, let alone suggesting to others to eat. I'm rounding up to 3 stars for being able to accommodate dairy free, vegetarians and even vegans on their menu, as well as having gluten free non pizza meals available. Visited February 2023. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free cheese, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

Kids loved their Hawaiian (Greed?); the adults (Lust?) was ok.
