The best thing about the lessons is that its very practical and allowed me to learn some great songs and techniques I would not be able to learn on my own. Group lessons are fun and give you a great opportunity to be around like-minded people. I have been studying for half a year and have to pause for now but I will reenrol as soon as I get a chance, feeling very thankful to the teachers!

I have now completed my 5th year with the school, having previously tried to do it myself. Initially I was concerned about classroom teaching thinking that one-on-one tuition would be better. I was wrong to be concerned as it turned out learning alongside others is the best way of learning. It also gives an opportunity to play with other people too (which we do during some of the classroom time). The teachers also encouraged me to play tunes that I liked and provided tuition and support on the techniques required to do so. I have learnt so much - for example I previously had no idea about how many ways there were to play chords. Also, the teachers 'quietly' introduce theory which has given me a much greater overall understanding of music and allowed me to understand how to start writing my own music.

Excellent school to begin your guitar journey. Already I have learnt a lot in my 6 months as a student starting from scratch. Many other fantastic opportunities which extend from weekly lessons, such as jam evenings, workshops and performing with other students on stage. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking into learning guitar to join the school - the progress you will see will surprise you
