- In May 2021 I decided to do a review of five years of my complicated tax returns 2014-2021, after another accountant who I formally contracted elsewhere had agreed I likely had overpaid tax. - From that November I and Elite researched & interpreted and made decisions on thousands of transactions of my business and investments. - The data was sometimes incomplete because of closed-down organizations and loss of data. I had to consult my diary, my email, etc. - The job included the need to interpret five-year-changing tax laws about tax rates, bridging finance options, rent from boarders, and cryptocurrency treatment. - Ravi and the team patiently worked month after month on this. They conferred respectfully and intelligently with IRD and me, until we all at long last arrived at an IRD judgment that seemed clear and fair. - At the end of it, I felt a bit like a castaway washed up exhausted on a beach, but grateful to be alive, thanks to the help of Elite. Possibly they felt the same. =)
