We ordered the pork sliders, calamari and two beers, totaling around $65. The food was expensive and what arrived was lazy. The amount of pork on each slider was miniscule, the calamari was soggy, and it seemed like the kitchen did not care about what they serve. Disappointing since we wanted to like this place so badly - it's a cool venue and convenient location - but left feeling ripped off. Vegetarian options: Very limited & include the usual suspects... salad and veggie burger.

Happy with the wonderful service from all the staff. Grilled Chicken Burger was more than expected, and the drinks were splendid as well. The under 12 kids eat free on Tuesdays promo was welcoming especially for young families. Well done Speights Ale House Stonefields.

Pleasantly surprised with the BBQ Pork ribs! We had a half rack and it fed three of us. They were juicy but still had the chewy burnt bits I lurve - succulent close to the bone and crunchy on the edges. Meaty as all hell!! The sweet chilli sauce was a bit too sweet and as a last minute pour over lacked some of the baked in beauty and sticky, tacky tastiness of what lay beneath. Would have preferred that on the side. Good pints and big dark wood pub hideaway corners. The staff are absolutely outstanding!!
