        Authentic Malaysian flavours always and with great service. Staff's amazing and the food is so good. If you love chilies and curries, satay and roti, this is the place to go to. Never fails to deliver.

        My first visit since the rebrand to Bakar. Whatever they did during the intervening period must have been genius cos the food got even better. This was the best nasi lemak Ive had in Auckland and the beef rendang was just amazing. Roti telur and dahl was a very generous portion - I think the competition is better, but it was still very satisfying. Friendly service as always.
