We use this cafe to have coffee at this local cafe frequently. We have just been advised that sadly, it looks like the nice people running this cafe have been given the boot by the relatively "new" Manager of the Golf Club, by terminating their lease, for unknown reasons. Looks like politics at play, and they may have had a better offer to run the cafe? It will be interesting to see how the new operators make any money, then what!! This cafe has had so many operators over many years, and the current operator is by far the best operator this club has ever had. There are a lot of unhappy golfers regarding how this has evolved. Politics!! ******** Best coffee and service that has been here for years. Their carrot cake is to die for. Couple of downsides with respect to the patrons, they are too lazy to take their glasses and cups back to the kitchen, its a club, not a restaurant. Also looks like the golf club hasn't done them any favours, terminating their lease, and trying to get them out early. Considering the work that Kim and co have put in, this shows there is absolutely no loyalty from this club manager. It will be interesting to see how these new people go when they find out that there is not much profit to be made, and whether they stick around, then what.
