If you can manage to get a booking this is a beautiful location, in a very traditional NZ batch with simple charm. The bach comes with a well equipped kitchen(no microwave), outside BBQ tables, with the beach nestled behind a small ridge to a beautiful pebble beach, with an amazing view. You can make the most of being inside the predictor free fence to experience the bird life and expansive walks through the farmland, beaches, and bush. The gate is locked to the general public at night (access via code) means it is very quiet at night, we drove to the main beach and followed the Eco trail and were able to hear the kiwis! If it was a clear night with a moon I am sure you might will even get to see one. Loved it.
