After walking for many hours around in the hot New Zealand sun, feet aching, stomach growling; there it was - an oasis, hope. As I approached I was greeted by derelict netting around fields of blueberry plants. At the end of the road, there it was: a shack that contained all I could ever dream of. A blonde child stood behind the till, a cherub perhaps? He certainly seemed ethereal as he handed me the single best cone of dairy-free real fruit ice cream Ive ever had. I was revived, saved by the oob.

Lovely little stop on return matakana to Omaha bike trail. Delicious ice cream, generous portions, friendly staff. Shame about the eating area rundown and shabby could do with a garden tidy up new seating and building reno.

Hardly any blueberries at all in my ice-cream-it was practically white, staff young and rude, place looked rundown and like it needed a clean. Dairy free chocolate ice-cream and passion fruit sorbet were both gross, threw them out. Quality has gone downhill massively over the last years.

Delicious fruit ice cream here on a nice summers day. Year round we always come and pick up anything that's in the seconds freezer cause it's so cheap and such a deal!
