    My experience of the Better Sleep Clinic was extremely positive. As someone with long term insomnia, the programme has completely changed the way I think about sleep & given me the tools and knowledge to change my approach & sleep well consistently. I really appreciated Dan's kind supportive guidance throughout the programme. In short, it was transformational, highly effective & I'd definitely recommend it.

    I struggled massively with "delayed sleep-phase" for as long as I could remember (10+ years), which had a huge negative impact on my life. After having our first child and finding things even harder, I finally contacted Dan for help. We worked together for only about 6-8 weeks and I now have virtually no problems with sleep/falling asleep. I never thought I'd get to where I am today, and can't believe theresults we've achieved. It really has been life-changing for me & I couldn't recommend Dan enough. Another great benefit is I now have a much better understanding of sleep and the research around it (many things I thought about sleep,weren't actually true and would cause me unnecessary stress).     The sleep psychologist that worked with me was fantastic; approachable, educating, and realistic about what is needed and possible. Dan figured out what my main issue was right off the bat and after a couple of months coaching (and some mahi on my end - change is never effortless) I'm now sleeping a healthy amount, with strategies in place to help me back when sleep goes awry again. But its not just that. Dan helped me get free from the guilt of being a bad sleeper, like it was some sort of failing. And, even better, I'm now free of having to plan my entire evening around trying to get to sleep. It was such a psychological burden. Getting rid of that is probably equally relieving as actually getting the extra sleep. You do NOT need to live constantly sleep deprived! It is NOT normal. Seriously, I didn't realise how much it had dampened my mood until after I got consistently improved sleep. The name pretty much sums it all up perfectly: The Better Sleep Clinic.

    I started seeing Stafford at The Better Sleep Clinic 15 weeks ago, and when I say it's the best thing Ive ever done, I mean it. With the stresses of life I started to develop insomnia, it progressively got worse to the point where I felt like Id not slept for nights on end. I knew there had to be a fix, I just didn't have the tools to do it. I'd tried, sleeping pills, naturopaths, health shop remedies, taking time off work, doctor visits and nothing seemed to work, and if it did work it wouldn't be for a substantial period of time. Then I found The Better Sleep Clinic. From my second appointment Id already noticed drastic improvements in my sleep. Stafford was so knowledgeable and kind, and for the first time I felt like someone genuinely understood what I was going through. He gave me practical, evidence-based tips and tricks I could do to deal with the physical and emotional side of insomnia; knowledge I will forever be grateful for and have with me for the rest of my life. I could write a whole novel on why I think this is the bees knees but will leave it here, 10/10 couldn't recommend it enough. One tip from me is, try to go into it with the right mindset and be willing to apply the tips and tricks given (which Im sure you'll be willing to try anything to fix your sleep haha)

    I got insomnia since the first Covid lockdown. I consulted with a sleep specialist (psychiatrist) who introduced the book, Sleep Easy by Bernice Tuffery which helped me for a good few months. I then had a relapse and that was when I was referred to Dan by the specialist. Dan has helped and guided me to having better sleeps. I am now sleeping so much better, not getting frustrated if I can't fall asleep or stay asleep. Thank you Dan for all your help, patience and guidance.
