Hello potential fellow customers! I placed an order online for a ALTI 1800 X 750 DESK on a very late Thursday night. Three packages arrived on Monday, the condition of the packages were ok. The desk board was a nice solid piece wrapped very nicely. I appreciate when products online advise customers that assembly is required, which they did mention on their website. I.e. Cordless drill needed to attach the top to the frame and an Allen key set. I wasn't sure if it was one person job... but I managed to do this all by myself! :D surprisingly... I started off with the desk board laid flat on the floor and placed the beam sliders on top of the board with the clamps pre-clipped on + placed the legs flats to align to beams correctly and used a pencil to mark where the pilot holes needed to be drilled into. I made sure the beam sliders were the same length and tightened them with a Allen key - at this point I had to decide if I wanted the bolts for the slider to be accessible or if I prefer to have a cleaner look, I decided to have the side with the bolts face the desk for the cleaner look. I proceeded to start with the construction of the frame. They have this interesting metal bolt joint that slips into the beam holes - looks sturdy. I loosen the joint thing with a smaller Allen key and it comes apart form the legs - now its was a process of repeat x4. Flip the legs downwards so that the legs are pointing up - check. bolts pointing down on the beam sliders - check. Slip the beam ends into the rectangular holes and join them together with the included bolts. -Flip it over- I proceeded to place the table frame to where I wanted it to go and adjusted the feet height aligners. -Flip frame over- again :D Now... the scary part... don't drill through the desk x'D lmao... -Get the desk board and place it flat on the floor- I used and electric drill to create pilot holes with a 3mm Drill bit - I followed my pencil marks for this part. I placed the frame on the desk board and installed the included clamps and screws used to attach the beams and the desk board. -Flip it over- and you have a desk :D I placed a heavy PC, monitor clamp mic clamps and speakers. its doesn't look like it with break any time soon. Definitely worth the money. additional information ... (The downside was the slight dent marks from the corner protectors + one part of the board seems to not be flat on the edge? It doesn't bother me because its on the underside. One of the slider beams joint hole was slightly misaligned, this may have been due to the lack of padding at the ends of the box, I managed to fit the joint mechanism in with a rubber hammer.) (I was given Black clamps, the photo shows White clamps, the order was for a White top and White bottom combo, so I assume it was going to be White -but its ok :D cause no one can see it anyway lol..) Also - if you want to pay with Afterpay, you need a Shopify account. :)

Charging $18.40 to have a cable management tray delivered to Waipa district is highway robbery. Purchased a product at the listed price of $44.85 (inc GST). Because of the confusions around adding shipping (wasn't obvious from a mobile device) I found out that I needed to pay extra for shipping, and was invoiced $18.40. I then received email saying that the listed price on the website was incorrect and should have been $51.75 (inc GST) and that's why there was a big difference between the invoices. If you list the price incorrectly, honour it and don't on charge the cost when you've made a mistake. The shipping invoice should not have included this "error" fee.
