Victims : Corrected by way of reparation and justice being brought to offender. Restorative Justice offered but not feasible. 4/5 stars. Offender : Corrected by reparation , community work and counseling. Broken by home detention. 2/5 stars. The Victims positive rating reflects its gratitude to the Court Judge in ensuring financial reparation was paid to all impacted. The offender is paying a comparatively small weekly sum. Full reparation to all victims will take quite a few years. The offender is repaying the money he obtained by deception and it is highly unlikely he will re-offend. Counseling and community work service were not beneficial. Home detention lead to a break down in the relationship with whanau/friend(s). Offender is glad to be correcting his wrongs , personally broken and uncertain how to move ahead. Overall rating : 3/5
