We chose Ray White Youngs for their casual letting service to rent our property in Hillsborough in April 2022. Based on our experience the service was subpar and unprofessional and therefore I would strongly recommend to any landlord they stay well clear of Ray White Youngs. Christine and Zafrina were dealing with our property. The problems began from the outset with lack of communication and general lack of professionalism. We often had to follow up with Zafrina to get any information on how the process was going and there seemed to be a lack of action taken unless asked for when it came to renting our property. This was extremely frustrating as my wife and I are both working and hence we chose to pay the professionals to make it a stress-free process, which was anything but. Our email communication with Zafrina often answered some questions and ignored the rest which resulted in multiple follow ups to which we still did not receive a satisfactory response. At times we did not receive a response at all. Attention to detail was clearly lacking. Once we had finally found a suitable tenant the intention was to sign the tenancy agreement on Friday. The tenancy agreement was sent to us on the Friday morning (promised to be sent on Thursday) at the 11th hour allowing us very little time to review the agreement during a work day. If that was not bad enough basic information was missing or left incomplete and a clause within the agreement was grossly misstated. All this meant that the tenancy agreement could not be signed on Friday due to Ray Whites neglect. Ray White Youngs did eventually secure us tenants however the process was riddled with issues causing a lot of stress, even after paying the professionals
