System has completely failed and condemned by local council after 8 years. $13 K to replace. Installed a Taylex system.

Terrible customer support, when our system pump completely failed and flooded killing all the worms, going through insurance for a repair or replacement quote was a nightmare and took many weeks and multiple phone calls before I finally got a quote of near $25k to repair the system and replace the worms, which involved Biolytix flying techs down from Auckland to complete the job due to no local contractors wanting anything to do with Biolytix (which speaks volumes). Systems are great until something goes wrong, then, good luck and I hope you have deep pockets. Insurance came through for us and we are replacing with a different system for cheaper.

A few years ago I bought a property with a system from your company and it has done nothing but cost me money. It has to be serviced every 7 months at nearly $500 each visit. Servicing people do nothing but look at it and leave. And this is all for ongoing council ticks of approval in a remote area. Ive just been informed it cannot be serviced by the initial company, so they are palming it off to somebody else in a different city. If you live remotely in Tasmania AVOID THIS SEPTIC SYSTEM

Firstly, this is a great product. The septic tank system and dispersal area takes effluent away from water sources and is clean and odourless. Relying on worms rather than bacteria is a much more attractive and effective option. The team at Biolytix are unfailingly helpful. Prompt, friendly, helpful and very professional.
