Grace Thai Takeaway

$19.50 for "Chicken Stir Fried Rice with Egg and Vegetables" - not sure where the vegetables were, except for a few pieces of onion. Unfortunately, the Rice and chicken were dry. Not impressed. 9$ for prawn toast. Actually quite nice. 10$ for super sweet Chicken Satay, not your usual crunchy Satay sauce, the texture is more caramelized peanut sugar. For $38.50, I wouldn't eat here again. The quality and the state of the takeaway premises, with no dine in option, as the stacked tables and chairs clearly tell you they don't want you there, all in all doesn't reflect the high price. I should've known better. Can get a better feed in parnell restaurant and dine in. These road side stores need to do better.

It's been a decade of looking for the best Thai food in Auckland after my old favorite changed owners and I think I've found it. This is the best Thai food in Auckland. Very fresh ingredients and generous serving of meat in the soup. Lovely service too. Very happy to have found my new go to.

Absolute best Thai place in Auckland I've been to, and I've tried a lot of Thai places around town. My wife and I have become regular customers since we tried Grace Takeaway about a year ago. Our favorites are: 1. Tom Yum Soup either Chicken or Prawns, the flavors in the Tom Yum Soup are superb!! 2. Garlic Pepper Beef Stir Fry - The flavors in the stir fry just pop like magical instruments in your mouth 3. Green Curry - it's very hard to find a place that makes quality green curries consistently. Grace Takeaways green curry is the absolute standard of what Green Curries should taste like. Thank you Phoebe and Grace Takeaways for your consistent delicious food. Absolute 5 Star Rating!
