Went in for an insurance windscreen chip repair, the guy has a look at the chip and tells me to comeback in an hour. When I come back the repair is complete and you can clearly see the chip is still there. I question the guy about the repair and he says in the most uninterested way " yes its repaired" " If you wanted the chip removed you would need a new windscreen they (insurance) should have told you that" How would anyone other than the repairer know that the chip was not repairable? he failed to advise me of this fact and then goes on to say " This is considered repaired now by your insurance and if you request a new windscreen they will charge you a $500 excess" I called my insurance and they said there will be no excess according to my policy and that they will not be paying the repairer for the job. So off to Novus It appears this guy only does insurance jobs so doesnt care about any customer service. Well he's not getting paid for this one! DO NOT go here for your windscreen repair.
