        Needed a new wheel bearing. The mechanic asked if I wanted a price and I said yes, he told me $414. When I picked up the car, the price was $111 more expensive than quoted. The quote did not apparently include the price of the labour or GST. I complained about this and the mechanic said sorry that I misunderstood him and that it was the price of the part only. Why would I only want to know the price of the part? And why not be honest and explicit that it was for the part only. Seems to be more deceitful than a misunderstanding of my fault. I wont be visiting again.
