Thai Warkworth

Just not up to scratch, really strange tasting amd smelling food, will definitely not be going here again.

I have been to this place multiple times, always great. My experience tonight wasnt as such. Did our takeaway order as usual of two beef rendang with rice to takeaway all going well until the lady comes out and says she only has two packs of rice left showing us two containers that we watched her pull out of the freezer.. then goes one is burnt is that okay? I work in hospitality and it was a very weird experience to say the least. She kept saying ones okay but ones burnt okay and I just said no Id rather not burnt rice. Then she said okay I have a pick up order for 7.30 so Ill just give you there rice after me asking for a refund to just go somewhere else. So overall not very happy with my recent experience.

I am reviewing this restaurant once more. We decided to "try" and have another meal here after finding it closed many times before. We sat down and ordered our meals then asked for a wine and a beer only to be told in very poor English, that they had "lost" their license. Therefore we cancelled out and went to Ramieo's where we had been many times before. They had another reserved table booking for 20 people at 6.00, I wonder how that went down? We won't be back! ***** Absolutely fabulous meals, nice and clean facilities, it is a pity that they are not more frequented. The staff are extremely friendly, well attired. However they did not serve both of our meals at the same time, which was not good. The last time we went, last week, it looked like they were short of knowledgeable staff, which meant a longish wait.

Moved to warkworth bout 6months ago ...this is definately our go to Thai. Thanks for the great food always consistently good . We order at least once a fortnight. Highly recommend Green chicken curry and Pad Thai noodles
