I've been trying to join this practice for 2 years. They wont accept any new patients despite having appointments available. I was helpfully told that the roll is growing - but you have to be pregnant. Surely there is a obligation of any healthcare provider to serve its community.

Delvina Titimanu Very sad to say goodbye to this place that I've been registered with for 19 years. Unfortunately I've been used to Dr Stewart who made it so easy for my young family. We would call up on the day and they would always be able to fit us in. Usually if we popped in right away. But now I find they are always fully booked. So unless you can plan when you are sick you will have to go on at least another day before you see the doctor. And it was too much for me one day to wait that I had to go to the White Cross which was $60, when I realized I had to change doctors. As for my children though I changed earlier. Dr Nasir was going to prescribe medication to my son without seeing him. It's a long story but my husband took two of my boys to see Dr Nasir first and explained that our other son will be coming up later on to see him too. Dr Nasir said our son at home probably has what his brothers have and was going to unethically prescribe him the same medication without assessing him. My husband said no and ended up bringing our other son up who in the end needed different medication as he was much worse. I also brought my baby girl up for her first check up. Dr Stewart did all of my older four kids check ups and was very thorough. Weighed them, checked eye tracking and joint range of motion. However Dr Nasir just looked at her, waved his hands in front of her to see if she responded and told me she looks well hydrated and I can go to see the nurse now for her vaccination. I'm so not one to write reviews like this. But thought this would be important for other Mums who might be considering registering here.
