Rubbish to deal with - very bad customer service and terrible distribution - not sure they have the right Business model or people working for them especially from the top - shame as they do have some decent products.

Excellent warranty service. Part of the deadbolt on my door lock snapped off. The lock had a lifetime mechanical warranty. I didn't have a receipt or know where the lock was purchased and the lock was about 6 years old. I sent an email with the details and I had the replacement for the broken parts within a week. Very impressed!

Allegion has lots nice people and nice products. Allegion is a very reasonable company. She always does what she has promised.

Disappointed with the Schlage 6000 door lock supplied through our window joinery firm. Allegion have a 10 year warranty on the lock which is reduced to just one year if within a certain distance of the coast. This lock should not be sold in NZ at all since we are 90 pc coastal. We had major corrosion starting 12-18 months after install despite the lock being in a dry, not exposed position. If we had known there was only a 1 year warranty with the requirement also to wash down monthly we most certainly would not have purchased. It has been manufactured in the metal door so we cannot change to a different lock. The Allegion rep supplied a replacement eventually, however we do feel because of its unsuitability for Nz climate it should not be sold here and Allegion is misleading customers with its warranty advertising 10 years on the website and that of several prominent retailers.
