Our 'Philharmonic Society Orchestra' books here annually. It's a great place to wander around with historic buildings and relics from the past. Even part of the waterfront's red fence! Byo, delicious home cooked meal, choice of chicken or lamb, scrunchy roast potatoes, vege and sides. We chose our own Beethoven 5 Concertos movie. Thanks to our hosts for another superb evening. Very interesting place to visit, has an atmosphere all of its own, with aroma of the wood stoves and plctures of old favorite films decorating the dining room. The little theater was great and the film with Danny Kaye gave memories of the wonderful jazz greats of the past, very enjoyable. The roast meal was very tasty and cooked well with touch of wood smoke, the lamb was tasty if a little overcooked for my taste. My only criticism is with seating arrangements in the dining room, if this could somehow be improved for more comfort you would rate 5 stars plus. All in all a fun day out, thank for all the hard work that goes into bring back memories of a past Era. Charles Boyle
