I spent 3 weeks in Capri Sanctuary and came into the facility in a pretty bad state. My life was out of control and I felt emotionally empty. The staff are incredible. They are knowledgeable and friendly and the place quickly became a second home to me. The facilities are great with nice rooms, beautiful grounds, wifi, sky tv, etc. Over my stay and with the help of numerous people I learnt how to manage my emotions rather than be controlled by them. Capri Sanctuary has a psychiatrist, psychologist and experts in depression, substance abuse to give you insight into what the issues really are. I was taught techniques and skills that have given me control over my life as well as the ability to start to enjoy it again. Capri Sanctuarys holistic approach understands the importance of physical health to your well-being. Capri has personalised training sessions in a modern kitted out gym with a very experienced personal trainer. There are also yoga classes, a sauna and spa and even a weekly massage. I could not recommend Capri Sanctuary enough to anyone depressed, using substances or who feels their life is out of control. If your considering Capri Sanctuary dont wait, get yourself in as soon as you can, I wish I had gone to Capri years before I did. Youll emerge emotionally stronger than youve ever been.

My recent stay at Capri Sanctuary literally turned my life around. The environment is comfortable and peaceful and you are made to feel completely safe and at home. The visiting professionals and permanent staff are all perfectly suited to their roles with the emphasis on a whole body approach to wellness. As well as the excellent DBT based program, (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), the sanctuary also provides a well equiped gym with a personal trainer, weekly massages, yoga training and a very nice spa pool, perfect for after a workout or yoga. The meals prepared by the full time chef are oustanding and the grounds are well looked after and beautiful for a stroll or a quiet sit in the sun. The DBT program taught me the use and benefits of mindfullness in our daily lives. It also provided me with practical tools for distress tolerance, improving my social effectiveness, and taking control of my emotions rather than being controlled by them as I had been prior to arrival. I cannot thank all the great people involved in the Capri Sanctuary program enough for the kindness and excellent care that was provided to me during my stay. Thank you all. I wrote that review a short time after my stay at Capri. Well it's one year ago now that I arrived at the Capri Sanctuary. I was a lost soul at that time with nothing good happening in my life and no hope for the future. The changes I was able to make with the help of the team at Capri and the support of my family got me out of that really dark place and begin to get my life back on track. One year on I am pleased to be able to say the foundations laid during my time at Capri and the tools I was equiped with have enabled me to rebuild my life. Some of the changes have been rapid and dramatic, others small and incremental but all are positive and collectively have given me back my life. I am achieving things again that for several years I only dreamed about and seem to be able to take lifes hurdles in my stride. Thank you again to all the team at Capri and my family. Life's good.
