        Absolutely beautiful. Access to 3 beaches, walks through the regional park, frisbee golf, magnificent views. Youre surrounded by trees with the sounds of a variety of birds and even farm animals from the neighbouring farm. The Bach is a council owned facility that can be booked and rented up to 7 months in advance. Its self contained, but you must bring bedding and clean it yourself (including taking all your rubbish away). An excellent stay.

        My dad, brother and I stayed at the Waitawa batch from 8/10 to 11/10. What an amazing place! The provided facilities are exceptional as is the location. 3 minute walk from a private beach and in low tide you can walk (along the coast) all the way to Kawakawa Bay or Mataitai Bay. Waitawa regional park has a wide range of walking and bike tracks. Overall, a lovely place with a great atmosphere.
