I just want to Thank Micheal at Airport pets. We moved from Auckland to Sydney. And needed to bring 4 dogs with us. But if you are not on the same flight as your fur babies it becomes a bit more complicated. BUT Micheal were great. He knows what he is doing. He kept me up to date with everything. As i have never done anything like this before he made sure to inform me what to do next. From getting there declarations done to arranging the Customs broker in Sydney. He even called me after his working hours to tell me how my dogs were doing and how the vet checks went as he new how stressed i was about my Chihuahuas being away from us and being in kennels as they have never been in kennels or on a plane before. He even texted me at 3:30 in the morning NZ time to tell me they were on there way and they are all good. So i just want to thank Micheal again for taking such good care of my babies and me. So if anybody needs to move pets to anywhere in the world make sure you deal with Micheal you wont be disappointed. A MILLION TIMES THANK YOU. The world needs more people like him !!!!!

Unbelievable experience. Horrific Customer service After receiving an initial quote for a service from Auckland to the UK 3 weeks ago. It later became clear that the service could not be provided and the suggestions staff alter gave fell through to nothing too - I have since been left with little communication and a 3 week wait to be told to try somewhere else. If they don't want your custom don't give it 'em! Though.. Judging by the sound of some of the reviews below, they aren't winning any awards for care of animals either so perhaps best it fell through. AVOID.

Started off great! But its all a ruse Paperwork from airport pet services specifically says no bowls, brushes, or bags or liquids other than the water we give them Air New Zealand then refused to take the dog because there was no water. Dog was then lost at Sydney airport for two hours. Then they invoice us saying we had to put a bowl in there for $50 The worst thing is they take no responsibility and take their $2,000. Very little care or compassion for our dog. She ended up spending over 12 hours in a cage when it was only from Auckland to Sydney. Shame on you guys. Once you drop your pet off theyll leave the dog in the cage even if your flight is delayed.

Absolutely horrible company. We contracted them to fly our dog from NZ to Spain. They confirmed, and we paid the deposit. Then 3 weeks later they called and said that they can not get her on the flight and can offer no other solutions! We are relocating in less than 2 months now and they have simply dropped us. I went desperately crawling to Venture Pets for a solution and a week later they managed to get us the flight we originally booked with airport pets! I don't understand how this company can be so bad, or care so little They have an average of one star rating on Yelp. Wish had looked there first

I recently moved to Australia and had my cats taken care of by Auckland Airport Pets and I highly recommend! Right from the get go - from receiving my quote through to picking my cats up on the other end was a smooth, stress free process. My cats are my babies and I was super nervous to leave them because they had never flown before but the consistency of this companies contact made me feel really at ease. They provided all of the information I needed well ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect. There were no hidden costs, the company is very transparent about what is what and they provide clear instruction as to where to pick the cats up. My cats also stayed a week at the Brookby Lodge before departing and the ladies there were so welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again. They were fantastic!
