Walkabout Rentals

We have rented multiple times from Walkabout, and always to our full satisfaction. The vehicles are technically in a very good condition, and well looked after. Rental prices are fair, bed linen and towels are plentiful, and chairs and a table come free with the rental. Another advantage of Walkabout is that they do not try to seduce you to book additional insurance, as most is covered by the general travel insurance each well-thinking traveller already has. Their friendly team always makes you feel welcome to their beautiful country. We recommend them highly.

We looked at several companies and it was hard to make a decision for march 2018 and we chose walkabout because they had the big six berth motorhome - we booked it for 46 days and upon arrival picked up from airport , received free chairs and table and we were given a full explanation of vehicle we had no diesel tax to pay it was clean and tidy and included everything , staff were friendly .would use again in a couple of years when we return to nz

Paid them more than $15K for a two-month motorhome rental in NZ, only to get billed an extra +$1700 for a small dent in the roof. Not only that, more than 1.5 months has passed from the end of my rental and they still haven't returned the mere $267 left from the security deposit... Unbelievably bad service!
