Turned out, the part I had was metric and the part I was sold was Imperial. Drove another 100 kms to exchange the part. Now our machine is going again.

Had a leaky water pump in my car. Would cost $400 for a new one. Took the pump to them and they matched it with a perfect sized silicone o-ring, all sorted, no more leak. Thank you.

Ordered seals through Wallace Heron Ltd in Pukekohe, delivery said to be first this thing next morning, NO SHOW, no idea where they were, No show in the midday delivery either. So drove to Manukau to pick up the seals ourselves. Asked that they matched the sampke, and was assured that they were the correct ones, got back to the workshop only to find they are NOT correct! This means that we cannot run our machine until it's sorted NEXT WEEK.

An elderly gentleman was very helpful in fixing an odd situation. Old Windsor motor with a dipstick seal that is near impossible to source locally.
