Elite Trailers & Floats Auckland Ltd

We got held up in traffic but still called into Elite Trailers at 4.50pm to get a brochure for a car hauler (T4 - Commercial transporter) valued at $11650.00. As we approached the gate an employee walked down, never spoke and when we asked if any person available as wanting to speak to someone about a trailer. He carried on closing the gate and was told "we are closed, its 5 o'clock". We never tried at any point to enter the premises but stood at the gate. He is the most arrogant person we have come across in a long time. Its obvious even in these tough times that this company is making enough money they do not need ours. I would advise people to look elsewhere rather than deal with this company. We didn't even want to give one star

Great cage on the trailer 8 x 4. Terrible suspension/springs. 1000kgs max total, trailer 330kg. Loaded 600kg+ and the tyres were rubbing under the guards. If you buy one, remove the cheap foreign springs and axle, replace with Trojan parts and it will be much better ........ almost as good as a 25 year old Briford trailer. Could have been a much better trailer, but opted for the cheap parts. It is now just used for garden rubbish/tree branches. Paid 2300 for it.

Building alarm is ALWAYS going off, any hour of day, in residential area. Don't seem to care
